What the teacher sees in the portal
The teacher portal shows the teacher their own evaluation. It starts off: turning it on publishes the evaluations to the institution's teachers.
The two scope options
- The teacher's evaluations — only the responses in which they were evaluated.
- Evaluations of their classes — every response of the classes they teach.
The difference exists because of partial responses. A student may have stopped answering before reaching the teacher's evaluation: that response counts for the class, but says nothing about the teacher. With the class scope, it appears to them; with the teacher scope, it does not.
The teacher sees which scope applies.
Release
- Immediate — evaluations appear as soon as they arrive.
- After the class ends — only once the class is over, so as not to influence it while it runs.
Comments and anonymity
Comments are shown without identification. Below the anonymity floor, the numbers still appear, but the comments disappear — in a small class, the text would identify who wrote it.
