Closed surveys in the list
When a survey goes out of use, it stays stored, with all its responses. The institution chooses how the survey list shows closed surveys, and the choice applies to the whole team.
The three options
- Together with the others — the usual list: every survey by date, with the "Closed" badge on the closed ones. This is the default until the institution picks another one.
- At the end of the list — first the surveys that are not closed and, after them, the closed ones, grouped, with the badge and the count.
- Hidden — the list shows only the surveys that are not closed and says how many closed ones it left out, with a way to show them.
The count always follows the filters chosen on the screen (search, status and program) and only the surveys you can see. With the Closed status, the list shows only them, whatever the option. Clear filters goes back to the institution's option.
What does not change
The option applies only to the survey list. Reports, comparisons, dispatch rules, merit cycles, the dashboard and My week keep showing closed surveys — comparing and rewarding look precisely at the past.
An inactive survey is never set apart: a survey copy starts inactive, and that is the one you look for right after duplicating.
Closing or deactivating
Both actions take the survey out of use, in different ways:
- Close — whoever opens the link sees the closed-survey message. A survey can be closed manually, by a deadline or when it reaches the response cap.
- Deactivate — the link stops opening.
In both cases the survey and its responses stay stored. Choosing between them is up to the institution; only closed surveys are affected by the list option.
