Usage quotas

Usage quotas keep a single person from using up the AI credits, emails or WhatsApp messages of the whole institution.

Splits, never raises

What a person can spend is always the lowest of what is left for the institution and what is left of their quota. A quota of 500 in an institution with 100 available is still worth 100.

That is why the sum of quotas may exceed the institution's ceiling, and that is normal: "each coordinator up to 50" does not need to be multiplied by the number of coordinators. Whoever comes first uses it.

The institution's ceiling comes from the contract and does not change on this screen.

Role, person and unit

  • Role — the ceiling of each person with that role. "Coordination: 50" means each coordinator spends up to 50, not that they share 50. With more than one role, the widest applies.
  • Person — the exception. It replaces the role ceiling for that person, up or down.
  • Unit — a shared pocket: everything the people of the unit, and of the units below it, use adds up against the same ceiling.

An empty field means no limit of its own (the ceiling above applies). Zero blocks.

Automatic sends

Automatic send rules, reminders and sends through the integration have no person behind them: they only use the institution's ceiling.

When the quota runs out

The message says whose ceiling ran out. If it is yours or your unit's, the solution is to ask the administrator to adjust the quota — waiting for the month to turn is not the only way out. Every quota change is recorded in the audit trail.
